Episodes » Episode 48: Scott's Pizza TourIf you're traveling to New York and you check yelp.com for suggestions of activities in which to partake while you're here, the number 1 tour they suggest you take is Scott's Pizza Tour, led by Pizza Enthusiast, Scott Wiener. Along with knowing all the important pizza landmarks and best places in the city to get a slice, Scott knows just about everything about the art of pizza production, and I honest to God mean EVERYTHING!
Watch Scott in today's episode and you'll understand
why we had to have him on the show. He's truly
hilarious and a wealth of information. In today's
episode, he teaches us how to turn our trusty rental
oven into a brick oven pizza machine by recreating the
effects of a $50 pizza stone for just $7!

Episodes » Episode 22: Brooklyn Style Pizza Roll
Today's episode is huge for us! It features our first
celebrtiy guest chef,
Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz. We are so thrilled that Marty agreed to be on the
show - it was a real treat for us. Honestly, Daniel
and I are still a little shocked that it came
together. I don't know about you, but I don't know many public officials who make
housecalls simply to celebrate the entrepreneurial
spirit. Pretty fabulous! If you've never seen Marty do
his thing, then you're in for a treat. Be sure to
watch to the end for a very special
proclamation:

Blog » Bagels are the new crack!Hello, my name is Allie, and I'm a bagel addict.
A great article from the Bitten blog on NYTimes today. Seems that food scientists have discovered what we food addicts already know: junk food can be as addictive as hard drugs. In fact, they're saying that, "the brain responds to junk food the same way it does to heroin". NOT GOOD!
Here's something that makes me feel good though. An excerpt from the report, from grist.com,
"This is the most complete evidence to date that suggests obesity and drug addiction have common neurobiological underpinnings"
SEE!! It's not our fault! We're addicted! We need help! You have to pull the bagels from our cold dead hands!
Whats worse? The rats they experimented on tolerated ELECTRIC SHOCKS to get their junk food. Crazy! That's where I think I'd draw the line. Unless it was pizza. Really, really good pizza.
