Episodes » Episode 46: Sauteed ChickenToday, October 1st, is one year from the day we aired our 1st episode - OK, it's 1 day short of 1 year, but it's as close as we're gonna get so let's not mince words.
Today we're making sauteed chicken as an homage to the first recipe we ever cooked together. We're using the same raw material - a whole roaster - but putting it together a different way. Same basic ingredients, same general cost, 2 separate meals. Damn, we're good! No wonder we've made it a year!

Episodes » Episode 44: Cara's Carrot CupcakesWelcome to part 2 of our collaboration with Big Girls Small Kitchen. In today's kitchen we team up with Cara, the other 1/2 of the BGSK duo to make a dessert to compliment our Fishballs from last week.
Both Daniel and I are huge carrot cake fans, so you can imagine our delight when Cara suggested we make them in cupcake form for our episode together. Usually I think desserts are a lot harder to make then savory dishes (a lot less room for error) but I felt that this recipe was surpringly easy. The simplicity comes across in the video as well, I dont know if we've ever produced such a chill, slow paced episode. I kinda love it!

We're sad that the scortching New York City summer days are at an end...but not really. Actually, it's pretty hard to do our show in the summer. No air conditioning in the kitchen = cranky, smelly E. Biters. Be glad that you're on THIS side of the camera!
Now that I've riled up your appetite, take a look at our final summer Economy Bites recipe: Bar B Que baked beans!
