in today's show, we make Pasta alla Norma, the recipe
for which we found in The Geometry of Pasta, a book
from our friends at Quirk Publishing. We plucked our
favorite recipe to bring it to you today!
INGREDIENTS
-1 large eggplant, sliced
-5 cloves garlic, minced
-2 Tbsp olive oil
-2 28 oz cans whole peeled tomatoes
-pinch of red pepper flakes
-Peanut, Canola or Corn oil for frying.
-1 lb Ziti
-1/2 cup pasta water

-1 1/2 cup chicken broth
-1/2 cup cream
-juice of 1 lemon
-1 tsp capers
-1/2 cup parmesan cheese
-pinch of salt

Episodes » Episode 24: Penne a la VodkaLong ago there was a time of terror and chill in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. During this time, the residents hibernated and wore coats and scarves. This time has passed and we've shedded our winter coats for more approrpriate Spring wear.
